New research has revealed how vital the Bible has been for Christians during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a poll commissioned by Bible study app WordGo, 63 per cent of church-going Christian adults say the Bible has been crucial to helping them deal with life’s challenges during the pandemic.
Director of WordGo, Simon Lennox says, the survey shows that in times of great uncertainty, we need the timeless wisdom and genuine peace which only the words of God can bring.
He told Premier News, if we’re going to face the uncertainties of life, we need to start the day with our certainties in Christ.
The research also concluded that around three-quarters of churchgoers believe the Bible is important to them for a personal relationship with God.
The study surveyed almost 2,000 people in the UK and Ireland.
