WellNow Urgent Care will hire for 75 positions in Western New York, part of 300 jobs the urgent care provider will fill across the state.
The new hires will support 10 urgent care centers set to open in New York State by early 2021 and fill openings created by promotions. The open positions include nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, physician’s assistants, patient care technicians and radiological technologists, as well as administrative positions.
WellNow is also filling jobs in Rochester, Syracuse and Albany, and says it will increase its workforce by 25% over the next three months. The company already has more than 1,100 employees at nearly 50 locations in New York and Illinois.
WellNow has 11 locations in Erie County. The company opened a location in Hamburg last month and plans to open a 12th location, in Springville, on Nov. 11.
